DEVELOPMENT & OPTIMISATION | ADVANCED SIMULATIONS

We make more out of your product idea!

Our experts work with you to analyse the desired product and optimise it at a very early stage, even before the actual design or production begins. In addition, we use the latest simulation software, which is used as standard for every mould project in the design phase. This guarantees you an optimal product and prevents unnecessary optimisation loops in production later on. We get the maximum performance out of your injection mould.

PROTOTYPING

We also offer you the option of having us print a 3D model of your product before production begins. This allows us to identify optimisations for the production process at an early stage and to further perfect your product.

On our FDM 3D printer we can produce prototypes up to the large box size. Furthermore, we also offer these services as an option for companies outside of the mould making sector.

CAD-DESIGN

The foundation for the outstanding performance of HAIDLMAIR moulds is laid in CAD design. Over 30 design engineers with years of experience work daily for your "Higher Productivity".

Together with HAIDLMAIR, they ensure the perfect mould, optimally tailored to your requirements and needs.

CAM-PROGRAMMING

A machine is only as good as the person who programs and controls it. Our CAM experts create all the programmes for our 3-5 axis machines in-house. This ensures secure and efficient production on our CNC machines.

PRODUCTION

State-of-the-art machines in combination with our highly qualified employees guarantee you the best product. We are able to carry out almost all machining steps of the mould production in our company with different technologies:

- CNC milling
- Wire erosion
- Die sinking
- Turning
- Grinding
- Hybrid manufacturing (conventional CNC
  machining combined with additive 
  manufacturing)
- Metal 3D printing

ASSEMBLY

At the end of the actual manufacturing process, the precisely manufactured individual parts are assembled to form the complete mould. The HAIDLMAIR assembly technicians pay particular attention to the optimal matching of the components. In addition, they work closely with the injection moulding technicians in the technical centre during mould sampling. This guarantees the optimum performance of your mould.

SAMPLING

So that you can start production as quickly as possible, we put the mould through its paces again in our injection moulding technical centre shortly before delivery. During this process, the basic process parameters are determined for you and any optimisations are carried out.

We have injection moulding machines with clamping forces of 175 to 3,200 tonnes. This allows us to sample almost all moulds produced at HAIDLMAIR. In addition, we also offer small pre-series production on request. 

COMPUTED TOMOGRAPHY

We x-ray your product! HAIDLMAIR has one of the largest industrial tomography machines in Austria. With this, products from our mould sampling can be scanned without missing anything and every problem, no matter how small, does not remain undiscovered. The data obtained can be fed back into 3D printing or design, for example, and guarantees further optimisation of the product or mould.

Of course, we also offer this service for industries other than mould making.

Service is a top priority for us, which is why our responsibility for the mould does not end with its delivery.
